PRINCE AND SONS
Retail Product Carton with Window
As a beautiful tea deserves to be beautifully presented, Prince & Sons Tea needed a custom tea box packaging that was as pleasing to look at as the tea is to drink.
The eCommerce boxes were manufactured at one of our UK factories and produced in white Kraft E-flute.
Maxipos provided The Coffee Factory with a number of different custom envelope styles in various materials.
Tip Top / Spirit Co
There were four different tasting set designs, each of which were printed in CMYK to match the corresponding advent calendar that Maxipos also produced for Tip Topp.
Rigid Box with Foam Fitment
Maxipos developed a three-sided jacket-style box from 1500-micron black lined greyboard which was then covered in Wibalin Natural paper.
On-Group reached out to Maxipos with an enquiry for a base and sleeve box for Proto-col.
Packaging Solutions for the Drinks Industry
The options available for secondary drinks packaging are extensive and the most appropriate option will depend on your primary drink packaging. We are confident that we can advise the most suitable drinks packaging options whether you intend to sell your product online, in-store, as part of a gifting range or a subscription service. See below for some of the options available:
A great way to keep bottles, tea bags, or coffee pouches safe and in place within the box, as the fitment stops them from moving around during transit.
How We Work with Drinks Businesses
Materials available for Drink Packaging:
E-Commerce or FBB Box with Cardboard Fitments – can be made in the same material as the base packaging. E-Commerce corrugated board would be best suited to heavier items whilst Folding Box Board would be ideal for lighter teabag and coffee packaging.
Mailer Bags / Envelopes – durable and created from 100% recyclable Kraft material. With recyclable Kraft Rippatapes now available, this is a great choice for coffee and tea brands focused on substantiality. Usually A4 or A5 size, so ideal for fitting through letterboxes.
Product Cartons – created from a lightweight, flexible folding box board (FBB), ideal for retail or coffee shop product packaging as they are a cost-effective solution. There are a wide range of coated, uncoated and textured boards to choose from and also can be digitally or litho-printed depending on the required quantity. These cartons are delivered flat-packed so take up minimum storage space
Rigid Presentation Boxes with Foam Fitments – thicker than folding cartons, these boxes are made from rigid grey board and offer a luxurious solution for gifting that is likely to be re-purposed after initial use. The board can be wrapped in coated or uncoated papers, printed with your design and embellished with various finishing effects (see below).
Corrugated Handle Box – a different style of E-Commerce box, usually produced in a strong E-flute material for durability.
Advent Calendars – available in an FBB or rigid board, advent calendars can be adapted to suit most beverage types.
Customisation for Drink Packaging
First impressions are important so why not consider some of the additional customisations and embellishments outlined below to increase your brand visibility:
Foiling and Embossing/ Debossing
Perfect for highlighting the premium nature of your brand and for catching your customer’s attention.
Ad these to the side of your box packaging to allow your consumers to see the product inside and increase their purchase intent.
Thumb Cut Holes in Foam
Fitments – allows the product to be easily accessible and adds to user experience.
Choose a matt finish for a smooth, sleek appearance or add a gloss or spot UV finish to ensure your branding or specific parts of your artwork catch the light.
There are several options including matt, gloss, soft touch and biodegradable.
This depends on the primary packaging. If you are selling alcoholic drinks in glass bottles, then your packaging needs to be durable and protective to ensure they arrive safely.
We will always provide plain samples so that you can check the size and style of the drinks’ packaging. Once this is approved, we will provide PDF proofs and either digitally printed samples or pre-production wet proofs so you can check the colour and design of your packaging.
