Luxury Carrier Bag Suppliers: Key Benefits
A luxury carrier bag provides an opportunity to broadcast your brand by keeping it in the public eye, thereby increasing brand awareness. You may think it’s a small thing, but the subconscious can be a powerful ally, especially when hundreds of people catch a glimpse of your brand as the bag passes by them.
Branded carrier bags are often desirable items in their own right, by being an extension of the products they carry, whether that be cosmetics, clothing or jewellery. An increasing trend is for consumers to post their bags on social media sites such as Instagram and YouTube where “unboxing” videos are now commonplace.
In this era of sustainability, if you provide a personalised carrier bag which can be reused time and time again, your brand is reinforced every time that bag is used and noticed. You invest in it only once, but the message it delivers continues to build up your return on investment every time the bag is used.
What materials can be used for manufacturing carrier bags?
Carrier bags can be produced using plastic, normally a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) which is lightweight but also strong. Only a very thin amount of material needs to be used to manufacture a large amount of bags, so they are a practical solution for single-use packaging.
Plastic bags are more durable than paper bags when wet and are commonly reused as either garbage bags or can be recycled along with other plastic containers.
However, customers are becoming increasingly intolerant of single-use plastic, and it is now common to see images of wildlife stuck in packaging or the mass of waste accumulating at landfill sites. As a result, paper is usually a better alternative to plastic and has the advantage of being an eco-friendly resource that is either sourced sustainably or made from recycled content. At the end of its life, it is easily and cheaply recycled to be made into new products. Raw materials are conserved through the act of recycling while FSC certifications can attest to the responsible practices carried out when ethically sourcing the paper. Unlike with some plastics, the quality of the material is not compromised by being recycled.
Generally, our MOQ for carrier bags is 1,000 units although we may be able to assist with lower quantities depending on the brief.
If production is carried out in Europe, our lead times are approx. 8-9 weeks for production and delivery. A 12-14 week lead time should be expected if production is completed in China.
We have the ability to deliver to all global locations using our trusted freight forwarders.
As we produce all our carrier bags to our client’s exact specifications, all sizes are available.
Unfortunately, we don’t get involved in the creation of designs for carrier bags; once a plain sample has been approved for size and style, we provide the cutter guide for the bag and it’s our clients’ responsibility to then supply print-ready artwork set to these guides.
