Blink Brow Bar – Retail Carrier Bag with Grosgrain Ribbon Handles

Vanita Parti, founder of BlinkBrowBar, is largely responsible for bringing the ancient Indian technique of threading into the 21st century. After resigning from her marketing position at a global airline, she single-handedly launched the first ever UK walk-in brow bar in 2004.

It wasn’t long before British Vogue was tipping BlinkBrowBar as the next big thing and today the brand can be found in leading stores including Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, Topshop, John Lewis and SpaceNK. As well as the walk-in bars, BlinkBrowBar have also developed an award-winning line-up of beauty products.

Since 2015, Maxipos has been providing BlinkBrowBar with various marketing materials including their Tissue Paper, Gift Card holders and Christmas Gift boxes. We have also helped design and produce their branded carrier bags, made from 220g C1S Artcard. These were printed with 3 specific pantones to the outside with matt lamination to provide a premium finish.

Particular attention was paid to the handles; our factory in China used a 16mm grosgrain material and designed the bag so that the ribbon came out of discrete slits in the top edges of the bags to give a clean finish. The handles were also colour matched to one of BlinkBrowBar’s brand pantones. To maintain the luxury aesthetic, the carrier bags had turnover edges and a card reinforced base. 10,000 units were produced by our main Chinese carrier bag factory.
