Rodial’s founder, Maria Hatzistefanis, created the high-end skincare and make-up brand in 1999. After working with celebrity make-up artists, she spotted an opportunity that led her to revolutionise the make-up and skin care market; her signature collections combine outstanding ingredients with ground-breaking innovation.

Rodial can now be found in 35 countries worldwide and their high-performance products have become insider beauty essentials.

For Christmas 2020, Rodial wanted a new cosmetic packaging gift set design for their Bee Venom, Dragon’s Blood, Rose Gold, Pink Diamond, Magic Gel and Face Mask ranges.

To keep the Christmas packaging streamlined, each product range kept its core colour scheme but had an artwork and box style revamp. Overall, there were nine different folding carton boxes and a Christmas bauble produced, each which a different artwork design.

Most of these boxes were created using a crash-lock base and tuck in top whilst others in the range had black ribbon detailing, reverse tuck-in structures or manual bottom lock closes. We also produced fitments for two of the boxes to ensure the products were kept securely in place.

The whole range of 27,000 boxes were produced using 350gsm C1S artpaper and printed with a four-colour process and additional specific Pantone colours for the various product lines. To give a festive and luxurious look we also used metallic and black hot foils for embellishment. These were then delivered to Rodial’s warehouse ready for assembly and fulfilment.
