Annie Sloan transformed the world of furniture in 1990 when she created Chalk Paint®, a product produced from her knowledge of colour, paint, pigments and art history.
Since then, Annie has led the decorative painting revolution and is now widely recognised as one of the world’s most respected experts in paint and colour.
Maxipos always look forward to receiving a new brief from Annie Sloan and this particular project was for an 0429 postal shipper and fitment.
The die-cut corrugated board fitment proved to be a big design task as the perforations were required to accommodate a wide variety of items dependant on the consumers individual orders.
The removable fitment was made to be multi-purpose so that each slot could house two different sized jars, simply by constructing a few extra folds. Flexo printing was used for this project which is carried out by reducing the percentage of ink printed on the board to give a rustic, faded effect.
The box was finished with a single tear strip with the purpose of sealing the box after it had been filled, without ruining the repeated print design with external tape.
