Reset Slipcase

Maxipos and L’Occitane have worked together since 2008 and we have completed over 200 projects across a wide range of promotional items and packaging products. We have mainly dealt with the UK head office but have also produced several items with their procurement team in the Paris head office.

In late 2018 Maxipos were approached by L’Occitane to develop a rigid box that would hold four products for their main Christmas promotion.

 

We provided L’Occitane with a number of different plain samples in different styles before they decided to progress with a rigid slipcase and drawer in the range’s blue pantone colour.

The slipcase and drawer were produced from 1200mic white lined greyboard and 130gsm magnosatin; both were printed in one standard pantone colour with machine varnish, whilst the slipcase also had a reverse white out added to it. A gold foil logo was then applied to the top panel of the slipcase and a standard coloured grosgrain ribbon added to the drawer.

 

We also produced an under platform made from 1200mic white lined greyboard and a white FBB Fitment from 500mic to hold the products in place within the slipcase.

Before delivering the 5,000 units of the box, our UK factory affixed the grosgrain ribbon to the drawer, inserted the platform and FBB fitment and then also inserted the drawer into the slipcase. They then polybagged the whole box and packed it into suitable stock cartons and palletised.
