Rodial – Wrap Around Zip Faux Leather Bag

Rodial’s founder, Maria Hatzistefanis, created the high-end skincare and make-up brand in 1999. After working with celebrity make-up artists, she spotted an opportunity that led her to revolutionise the make-up and skin care market; her signature collections combine outstanding ingredients with ground-breaking innovation.

Rodial can now be found in 35 countries worldwide and their high-performance products have become insider beauty essentials.

In 2021 Rodial contacted Maxipos as they wanted to create a premium make-up pouch. They had a benchmark in mind, so Maxipos used images of this as a starting point with the factory.

To begin with their new cosmetic brand packaging Maxipos provided Rodial with several swatches for the faux leather material, the zip-pull style and the colour of the zip teeth and tape. Once the swatches were narrowed down, our factory were able to create the first samples.

From then on, there were multiple rounds of sampling to ensure that the highest quality bag was provided as the end product.

A faux leather trim was added around the internal TPU window to ensure the inside of the bag looked just as premium as the outside. The Rodial logo was also debossed to provide a quality finish.

The final touch came from our factory creating a bespoke mould so that the rubber zip pull could be the exact dimensions Rodial requested.

The make-up bag was packed into a labelled recyclable polybag to ensure they were protected during shipment.

The initial production run was for 3,000 units. Rodial were extremely impressed with the bags when they arrived and have since asked us to investigate producing another size in the same style.
