Silk Eye Mask

Beauty Pie is the new disruptor of the beauty industry with their innovative subscription-based members’ club. Offering luxury skincare and cosmetic ranges, their products are on par with the big brands of beauty… except there is a twist:  they offer members an exclusive price which is much lower than the ‘typical’ price. Due to this business model Beauty Pie have quickly obtained a large and loyal following.

Maxipos and Beauty Pie have worked together on several packaging and accessories for retail since 2019, when Beauty Pie first contacted us about sourcing high-quality silk eye masks for their 2019 Christmas promotion.

Beauty Pie’s brief for this project was for a high-quality silk eye mask in two different colourways with different text embroideries on the front. We had several rounds of sampling to ensure the quality, colours and styles were exactly what Beauty Pie wanted.

We delivered 5,000 units of the 22 momme mulberry silk eye masks, wrapped in tissue paper and packed in an embossed rigid shoulder box that we sourced from one of our factories in China.

Beauty Pie liked them so much that they decided to produce the silk eye masks again for their 2020 Christmas promotion.

These eye masks were made in the same silk, but this time in a stock blue and hand-dyed burgundy colour. To provide a luxury look, the masks had a 10,000-stitch embroidery on the front in matching colours to the silk. The elastic strap was ruched for maximum comfort and a printed tag with the wash instructions and logo was sewn around it.
