A MORE DETAILED EXPLANATION:
- We meet with our client to discuss their requirements.
- From this meeting we produce a comprehensive briefing document which covers all aspects of the project from the technical specification of the product, the volume, the delivery requirements and the lead times.
- We then identify perhaps 3-6 of our suppliers who we feel are most suited for this project; this decision is based on a wide range of factors including their geographical location (will often dictate their lead times), quality, experience and price.
- Each supplier then receives the same briefing document to make sure they are all quoting like-for-like. Strict deadlines for when we need the required information back are also stated.
- At the end of this period, we then collate all of the required information. This could include pricing, lead times, samples and designs.
- From this information, we then outline the best proposal to our client in a face-to-face meeting.
- Based on our client's feedback, we then work with them to fine-tune and negotiate the proposal; further pricing and samples are often required.
- In 75% of the projects we are asked to quote on, the client commits to an order.
- We then handle artwork transfer, proofs and order confirmation with the factory as well as the required delivery and labelling specifications.
- We remain the sole point of contact for our clients during the production process, keeping them up-to-date with the production progress.
- Maxipos then makes sure that the factory in question follows our client's often detailed packing and goods-in instructions, resulting in a successful delivery on time to any warehouse in the world.
